ACFE in the Community

The Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship was named for two members of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), Larry Jennings and Tracy Ritchie, who were killed while working in Karachi, Pakistan in 1997. The scholarship is administered by the ACFE Foundation and largely funded through donations of chapters and members of the ACFE.

Undergraduate or graduate students are encouraged to apply. A recommendation from a CFE is preferred for applicants. Our local ACFE Chapter is happy to provide a recommendation to student members.

Congratulations!

Our Advisory Board Member and President Emeritus Andrea Valentin was recently appointed to the ACFE Scholarship Committee by the ACFE foundation. Andrea has a passion for educating the next generation of anti-fraud professionals and will lend her insight into helping the recipients grow their knowledge.

We’re excited to see an individual who has meant so much to the development of our local chapter getting involved on the National level. The future is definitely looking bright for Andrea and the ACFE Foundation!
